Nightlife

Night life has always been appreciated at Jacksonville. Long back there has been the boardwalk, which had penny arcades rows. Lots of games for kids, roller coasters, cotton candy and corndogs used to be there to enjoy night life.

Whenever you have a travel in Jacksonville Florida, you should visit these places and enjoy at the fullest. For elders there are arrangements for drinks and food also. For fun you can also visit Mayport Naval Base (A1A). This attracts all sorts of crowd from sailors to the local of the town, to give you fun and enjoyment.

Now the board walk is still present but no ride, no arcades. Though you can still find a club and bards close to the beach but do not expect those old days having roller coasters and arcades. Lot of clubs for your enjoyment and for partying is still there and too just at walking distance. Few of them are "The Ritz", "The ocean club".

Former is a large stand (square shaped) on one of the beach parking lots. It has been a good place since as long as 1945. It has DJ for dancing on weekends and also has pool tables and a good place for local hangout. The only drawback is they do not serve any food.
